Over the last few weeks in school, we have been talking to the children about keeping safe in school and around the house. Please see below for a link to some information on child safety in the home.
Good morning,
I hope that you had a nice weekend. In school, we are constantly developing our approach to online safety and working hard to ensure that your children have a healthy understanding of how to use the internet safely.
Should you have any worries or queries about what your children are accessing online, please do not hesitate to come and speak to myself or your child's class teacher.
Below is a link to lots of useful websites concerning online safety that are very useful as a point of reference.
YoungMinds is the UK’s leading charity fighting for children and young people's mental health.
They want to see a world where no young person feels alone with their mental health, and all young people get the mental health support they need, when they need it, no matter what.
Find out more about who they are, the work they're doing and what they're trying to achieve.
Today (the 3rd Monday in January) is often referred to as 'Blue Monday' and described as 'the most difficult day of the year'. Although this is a myth, the Samaritans label this day 'Brew Monday', the day to have a cuppa and a chat with those we care about.
If something is playing on your mind, please reach out and let me know. I am more than happy to have an informal chat over a cup of tea if there is anything that I can do to help.
Just send me an email at or pop in one morning or afternoon this week.
For further information on the support offered by the Samaritans, please see their website here.
Kind regards,
Lucy Kingsnorth
