In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have worked hard to ensure that all our pupils have access to remote learning should they need to be at home, either for a period of self-isolation, due to awaiting a PCR test result of if they have tested positive for Covid. Please also see separate guidance for parents for remote learning in the event of an enforced school closure.
We will strive to provide remote education equivalent in length to the core teaching pupils would receive in school, for more details, see attached documents. During these times we have tried to ensure that pupils' experience of the curriculum is as closely matched as possible to what is happening in school. We do, however, appreciate that remote learning is challenging and it may be that your child is unable to complete the stipulated amount of work, due to circumstances at home or suffering with symptoms, and this is something which can be communicated between parents and Teachers.
Please see attached more information about our remote learning curriculum, details of the provision available for each class, including our Guidance of Parents and Pupils on participation in live lessons, for our Rockingham Class pupils. As a parent, if you would like to talk to us about access to devices or data to support remote learning, please phone the school office on: 01536 330642, email the office: , or email your child's Teacher direct.
